Early Pregnancy Classes

Labor is the work
you do to give birth to your baby. Logically then, a woman should
not go into this work unprepared. Your body benefits from prenatal
exercise, relaxation and proper nutrition. Both expectant fathers
and mothers learn how to anticipate and cope with the physical
and emotional changes of pregnancy.

Baby Care Class

Baby Care Classes instruct both
pregnant and adoptive parents-in-waiting about newborn appearance,
behavior and physical and emotional needs. Breastfeeding and bottlefeeding
are discussed with emphasis on the benefits of breastfeeding when
possible. Expectant parents learn through classroom demonstration,
discussion and practice. Classes include
practice holding, swaddling, bathing, diapering, and dressing
baby using newborn teaching dolls and "Happiest Baby"
instruction. Each family receives one set of materials.
Related books, CD's, DVD's and videos may be purchased from the
instructor.
