a specialist training workshop, taught by a certified Lactation
Consultant, offering basic knowledge, practical tips, assessment
skills and helpful techniques essential for initiation of breastfeeding
and early lactation support. This course will enhance any childbirth
education or doula training, provide information and guided practice
for bedside caregivers and provide an option for supervised clinical
proficiency and certification.
